The first book in thePrioniae of the Worldseries, theIllustrated Geographical Guide, presents a comprehensive encyclopedia on the Prioninae subfamily. The book was created in collaboration with leading experts on this subfamily of Cerambycidae. It is a follow-up to the titlesThe Prionids of the WorldandThe Prionids of the Neotropical Region.
In addition to depictions of both male and female specimens, the main illustrated section includes bionomic data, collection location, and a map showing the distribution and capture site of each specimen. Some of the illustrated species have never been published before. The book also includes a complete list of all known Prioninae species.
